My Cute Stamps: Merry Wishes!

Hello Friends! It has been a whirlwind weekend and I am happy to report I got lots of my Christmas shopping done early. I still have more to do, but I am looking forward to a relaxing Christmas this year. I am still recovering from Thanksgiving and Black Friday, but I was able to relax and make my cards for My Cute Stamps Weekend. This is the final month of my Design Team term and I am so grateful for the wonderful opportunity Holly has given me. Thanks Holly! I had a blast! I decided to feature the amazing new My Cute Stamps set called Merry Wishes. All the images in this set are adorable and a joy to paper piece. All three cards are using both images and sentiments from the Merry Wishes set. All the patterned paper used is from the 'Tis the Season line from Bo Bunny.

I love adding all the buttons on to this cute tree! The tree image just matched that patterned paper so perfectly :)

I played along with the SFYTT sketch challenge on this card. It was great to use lots of the different papers from the 'Tis the Season collection.

This little wreath is so darling! It would be perfect for making tags too!

Hope you all had a great holiday weekend! Thanks so much for visiting me!
Hugs,
Rachel Siggy

SFYTT Here for you

Hello! Are you watching Bachelor tonight? I am anxiously waiting for Mike to get home, so we can watch the Finale. I thought I should post this week's SFYTT card, since the Stickles has dried by now. I posted it this morning on SCS, but I forgot to attach the button. I put pics of both options. Not sure which one I like better. I do love the Platinum Stickles. That darn bottle got clogged and then I remembered a tip I got from my local scrapbook store. They said to run a paperclip down the hole in the tip. They said a pin was not wide enough and that a paperclip is just the perfect size. Worked like a charm! So I will have to remember to keep one with my class supplies. This card was very easy, since there was no coloring involved. I just stamped the image in Chocolate Chip and sponged the edges with Baja Breeze & Basic Brown. Those SU! speciality papers are fabulous. I love the texture! Hope you like it and thanks for visiting me. :) Rach

SFYTT Howdy

Howdy Partners! These boots were made for walking! This rhinestone cowchick is ready to lasso her a cowboy. I am trying to use the stamps I don't use that often. This is one of my favorite stamps, however I have only used it twice. I really liked this SFYTT challenge. I think I will be using it again soon. I hope you like the card and thanks for looking.
:) Rachel

God has truly blessed me with this amazing man. He is handsome, kind, smart, funny and spoils me with stamps. I made this card special for him for both our Anniversary and Valentine's Day. I poured all my love into this card and a few tears of joy. I am so very happy!!! Happy Anniversary My Love!!

p.s. I was surprised today with these beautiful roses from my hubby. Thanks Mikey!

I will be back later to post the card recipe.

Trick or Sweet

Where did the weekend go? It was a whirlwind weekend for me, but I did manage to finish my Halloween goodies. I took a chocolate making class earlier in the week and made lots of fun treats. I just knew I had to use my Stamp a Sweet Impression Stamps for the packaging. The handle bag on the left has 2 purposes. I used Jen del Muro's sketch for the layout and it's a goodie bag for a friend. The Halloween pail is a little gift of some of the chocolate treats I made in class. Since the pail was already a cute Halloween polka dot pattern I just added some ribbon and a tag to embellish. Hope you had a wonderful weekend and I will be back later to post more photos from my chocolate making class .
