Happy New Year Friends! What a great way to celebrate the day with a Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge! I am looking forward to all the new TE sketches and new releases for 2010. TESC96 is so fun! Love the layers! I flipped the sketch upside down and created the card using one of my favorite Cuppies from the TE set Love is Sweet. Cuppie loves sweets just like me. It's hard to believe Cuppie could be standing next to all that chocolate and not gobble them all up. Cuppie knows portion control!

TESC92 - Season's Sweetings

Hello Friends! It's Friday and time for another fabulous sketch challenge from Taylored Expressions. Can you believe it is going to be Thanksgiving next week? Just crazy! What happened this year? It just flew by and I don't even remember summer. LOL! Well in keeping with this year flying by I decided to make another Christmas card for this week's TESC92. Because Christmas will be here before we know it too. I of course had to stick with my beloved Gingerbread. The MerryMint Collection from American Crafts is so sweet. I thought this sketch was perfect to show lots of the different papers from the collection. I topped it off with the Season's Sweetings sentiment from Taylored Expressions.

TESC91 - Happy Birthday Moof!

Happy Friday the 13th! It's time for another fabulous Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge! I loved this week's sketch TESC91 because the card I made was for my dear friend Martha a.k.a. Moof. We will be celebrating her special day at our monthly group stamping meeting tomorrow. Moof loves pink, so I used lots of it with these pretty papers from October Afternoon. Moof and I also share a love of cupcakes. She likes to bake them and I like to eat them. LOL! So you know I just had to use Cuppie for this card. Cuppie is just too cute to resist!

TESC89 - Happy Birthday to MY SUPERMAN!

Happy Birthday Mikey! I am so excited to spend the day with you at Disneyland. Yes, it's another round of Disneyland for me. This time just my hubby and me celebrating his special day. My husband spoils me so much, so I love going all out for his birthday! He is finally going to have a Pineapple Dole Whip. It's the best frozen treat ever!!! Ok I am going to have one too. Hee Hee! My buddy at work also told me today that there is a free Iphone App that gives you the wait times for each ride at Disneyland. Yup, there's an app for that! LOL! Just added it and can't wait to test it out today. Well since my hubby is such a Superman, I thought that the Superman Cuppie from the Taylored Expressions Trick or Sweet II set was just perfect for his card. So what goes super with Superman Cuppie? This week's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge of course! I used the background panels in TESC89 to create a couple of red capes and added lots of stars to add some fun! Very Merry!

Happy Sunday! It's such a beautiful day outside, so I am off to visit the parents & brother. We are currently addicted to eating Sunflower seeds, so I will need to stop by the store and pick up some bags. We sound like a bunch of parrots. I will keep cracking away until my lips are white. Yes, it's that serious! I love salt! Well onto today's card, I couldn't find my parrot stamps to go along with the theme but I do have one of my fav owl stamps. When I saw this beautiful foil accented paper by Making Memories I thought it would be perfect for this stamp. These owls are so cute and it was fun paper piecing a couple of their scarves. TESC86 - Let it Snow!

Hola Amigas! I have been working a lot on cards lately and wanted to stop for a bit to post this card for the current Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. I love Taylor's Sketches and this one was another great one. I wanted to use one of my favorite Christmas sets Home Sweet Home. Yes, because it contains a Gingerbread house of course but also because I am partial to the Snowman Cuppie. I just love him. He just looks so cute in that top hat. I also wanted to use more of that adorable Colorful Christmas line by My Mind's Eye. Can you tell I am wishing for winter? Ok, so it won't snow in Orange County, but I can dream. I will be taking a visit this winter to the snow, so I am very excited for that trip. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend and thanks for visiting!

TE Birthday Bash Last Call

HELLO! I kept thinking it was Tuesday today and that I had one more day to complete the TE Birthday Bash Challenges. Ummm ... it's Wednesday! Well it looks like I may only be able to do this last one, as I am so exhausted from work and this past weekend. I really wanted to do Jodi's color challenge, as these type of challenges are the hardest ones for me. I wanted to keep the look more clean, since the colors are so vibrant and pretty. Jodi picked some really great colors for the TEBBJC Challenge. I hope you all got a chance to play. I was hoping to catch up to my friend, Ryann, but she was on fire! Moxie Fab Stamping Challenge!

Hi ya! It's Sunday & I am still stamping. Just love this new Merry Mint collection by American Crafts. It's my fav - Gingerbread! Woo Hoo! I still have some more gingerbread stuff coming. I made this card for the Moxie Fab World Stamping Challenge. I really loved the paper so much I only stamped the sentiments. Stamping only the sentiments was a real stretch for me. The center of the card reminded me of one of my favorite Christmas cookie platters. This was a fun card to make, since it was simple. Taylored Expressions Birthday Bash!

Happy Saturday! I thought this weekend would NEVER get here. I haven't been able to stamp much, except for the swap cards I made. I will be posting those up hopefully next week. I couldn't wait for the weekend to stamp for the Taylored Expressions Birthday Bash! Big Congrats to Taylor and the TE crew! I am huge fan of Taylored Expressions and I am so glad for the long weekend to play along with all of their fun challenges. The first card I wanted to share is for the TEBBDB (Paper Piecing) & TEBBDE (Paper Tole) challenges. You can visit the Stamp a Sweet Impression blog for a complete listing of all 13 challenges. My BFF, Pilar, needed a hot air balloon thank you card. It had to be masculine as well. That was a challenge in itself. Luckily I had the adorable Fly Away set from the Greeting Farm. I used some of my Bo Bunny stash for the paper piecing. I popped up the hot air balloon pieces and sentiment with 3D Foam Tape. To keep the look more masculine I decided to put the sentiment on the balloon to mask the heart. I could have easily not stamped the heart, however I was going nuts looking for my Memento dew drop pad with no luck. Sentiments are great for covering up stuff. I am sneaky like that... LOL! Well I hope you get a chance to join the party! I will be back with more this weekend.

Taylored Expressions - Christmas in July Blog Hop!

Happy Friday! Here's my card for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge #57. I have had this Penny Black stamp for awhile and really wanted to use it. So as I was coloring I realized that Taylor's Tiny Twinkles would be perfect for the flower center. I really love the sparkle. I also got to use my new dotted scallop edge punch. TECC56 Home Sweet Home

Good Morning! How was your weekend? I am still trying to recover from VSN, as you can tell I picked up the wrong Bo Bunny green. :( I didn't even realize it until after it was assembled on the yellow. I didn't have time to re-do it before the 8am deadline. So please imagine it's a beautiful olive color. LOL! I think it gives it character :) Well as you can see I have found a new love ~ American Crafts Craft Fair Paper! I picked these up at Scrapbook Expo last weekend. So when I saw Taylor's Cupcake Challenge on Friday I knew exactly what paper I was going to use. Don't you just love this Trendy Trees set too? So Sweet! Suuuup! It's Saturday! Don't ya just love Saturdays? I would like to share the card I made for Taylor's Cupcake Challenge.
