TESC134 - Sweetest Holiday Wishes

Hi Friends & Happy Friday!!! Can you believe Christmas is just around the corner? I thought this week's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge would be the perfect opportunity to make another Christmas card for my holiday stash. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Gingerbread Man Sizzix die. Isn't he so cute? I paired up this cutie with some more wonderful Echo Park patterned paper. I love all the different colors. So festive! I also added a strip of some Bo Bunny double dot paper too. I am thinking of making something similar to this for this year's Christmas card. It's hard to resist this adorable gingerbread man. Are you ready to play along with us? Taylor will be looking for her Top Crops and it could be you. So play along and have some fun!

TESC131 - Let's "Hang Out"

Hi Friends! Sorry I am playing along with this week's Taylored Expressions Challenge 131 so late. I caught a cold and it's honestly taken me 3 days to finish this card. I couldn't work on it more than a few minutes at a time, so I kept working on it bit by bit. I am so happy I got to finish it. I used the spooky and sweet Cling Hang Out Spider set by Stampendous along with some of my favorite Halloween patterned paper by Bo Bunny. I started off by paper piecing the background of the spider image by stamping the image onto some green patterned paper. I stamped the image 2 more times on white cardstock. The first stamped image was used to color the spider and candy corn. The second stamped image was used as my main image layer. I layered the green cut out of patterned paper and then added the colored/ cut spider and candy corn with 3D foam tape. I hope you like it and can play along with this week's sketch. Just a reminder there is another fabulous Blast from the Past blog hop coming up on October 22nd. If you would like to join in on the fun just click on the badge on my sidebar for all the details.

Just A Blog Hop!

Welcome to Just A Blog Hop! We were invited to put aside all of our stamping oriented obligations and deadlines and create something just for fun. The hop guidelines were simple: choose a challenge to play and choose either a new uninked stamp or an old favorite, create a card and mail it to someone. What could be better to celebrate World Card Making Day? If you arrived here from the blog of the fabulous Rosie Hughes then you are on the right track. I you would like to start from the beginning then hop on over to Jami Sibley's amazing blog. I chose to play with along with the fun ESS Sketchy Thursday 102 using this wonderful new stamp set from Waltzing Mouse called Bountiful Baskets Additions. I am so happy it's October. I love the Fall and I love shopping for pumpkins to decorate the house. I love the sentiment... Let us give thanks. I am so thankful I have been blessed with so many wonderful friends and this one is going out to one of them. I hope you spend your World Card Making Day just having some fun with all your favorite stamps. I know I will! The Just A Blog Hop fun continues onto the blog of the super talented Sankari Wegman. Be sure to get your stamps out and just have FUN!!!

Thanks for visiting and Happy World Cardmaking Day!!!!!!!!!!

STMC25 - Bake up some special memories

Hi Friends! Welcome to the weekend and a Stampendous Saturday Sketch Challenge! It’s my turn this week to provide all you challenge seekers this week’s sketch. Check it out below… I got all fancy and added a bow. LOL! My sketch card stars the brand new Stampendous cling rubber set – Cookie Memories. The sweet girl image reminds me so much of my niece. I imagine one day soon when she is older we will be baking up a storm for the holidays. I must say it was those darling gingerbread cookies that truly captured my heart. I stamped out the image on white cardstock with Memento ink and colored it in with Copic Markers. I also stamped the image on top of the pink patterned paper and popped up the colored image over it at the very end. I hope you like it! I LOVE this set! We would love to see your creations using this sketch. So come on and play along with us and your entry could win you a fabulous prize from Stampendous. Happy Birthday Sweet Friend!

Hi Friends! I am always running late on birthday cards, but today I got it right. I want to wish my sweet friend Patricia a very Happy Birthday today! She is an amazing friend with a big heart. She is simply wonderful and I am so proud to call her my friend. I made this card using some of my favorite Wild Rose stamps by A Muse. They are so pretty! I also love making tent topper cards. They come together so easily and are fun to make. I first stamped the Wild Rose Branch stamp with Tea Leaves ink (VersaMagic). I then inked up the Wild Rose stamped images with Spring Pansy ink (VersaMagic) and then rocked the edges with Purple Hydrangea ink (VersaMagic). Very easy and I love the soft look of chalk inks. I added some sparkle with Multi Ultra Fine Crystal Glitter. Hope you have a fabulous birthday, Patricia! I hope all of you have a fabulous Sunday!

Thanks for visiting and join me tomorrow for more from Stampendous!

TESC128 - Happy Halloween!

Happy Friday! Are you ready for another spooktacular Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge? Hope so because this one is a goodie! I just received my Lawn Fawn order which included the new Heebie Jeebies set. I couldn't wait to ink it up for this week's sketch challenge. This is what I like to call my fast and furious card. LOL! It was coming together so fast I couldn't believe it. I was amazed and so happy.... until the furious part came in. I could not tie the bow for the life of me. It kept slipping out of my hands or coming out all crooked. I thought I was losing all coordination or my mind. Grrrr.... Luckily I focused on that cute ribbon and got it tied. LOL! I still got the card done faster than I normally do so I was all smiles. I used the cute Bo Bunny Whoo-ligans patterned paper along with some of my fav Wasabi Double Dot paper. Is it possible to own too much Double Dot paper? I didn't think so either. LOL! I added some sparkle to the spider web with Taylor's Tiny Twinkles and embellished the background with some Dot Sparklers. Hope you can play along with us this week. Taylor will be looking for her Top Crops and it could be you!

Happy Saturday!!! It's time for another fabulous Stampendous Sketch Challenge. This week's amazing sketch is brought to us by Pam. You have to stop by and visit her blog to see her fangtastic creation! She also challenged us to do some paper piecing as well. I decided on paper piecing the S-U-N letters with different coordinating Bo Bunny papers. I used the Fun in the Sun clear set, as I am still trying to hold onto summer a little while longer. The Bo Bunny -Sun Kissed line was so great to use with this set. I love, love, love bright colors! Can you tell? LOL! We would love it for you to create something using this sketch along with a little paper piecing. If you would like to play along, then just pop on over to the Stampendous Blog and leave a comment for the STMC22 blog post with a link to your fabulous creation. Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Valentine's Day Sweet Friends! Today's card is for My Valentine - My Sweet Hubby! As my brother would say ... "I am living the dream!" Well with Mike as my hubby, I am! He is so wonderful, loving and kind. He treats me like a princess and is incredibly supportive of me. He may find himself stepping on buttons, his computer desk filled with stamps, paper, dies & Copics or even being woken up from a dead sleep to look at a card. Through all of that he still loves me and supports my love of paper crafting! So it's no wonder that today's card is just for him. He has my heart, a Reese's peanut butter heart and a whole lot of paper crafting stuff in his office. *wink*

Have a wonderfully sweet day and thanks for visiting me!!!

My Cute Stamps: Merry Wishes!

Hello Friends! It has been a whirlwind weekend and I am happy to report I got lots of my Christmas shopping done early. I still have more to do, but I am looking forward to a relaxing Christmas this year. I am still recovering from Thanksgiving and Black Friday, but I was able to relax and make my cards for My Cute Stamps Weekend. This is the final month of my Design Team term and I am so grateful for the wonderful opportunity Holly has given me. Thanks Holly! I had a blast! I decided to feature the amazing new My Cute Stamps set called Merry Wishes. All the images in this set are adorable and a joy to paper piece. All three cards are using both images and sentiments from the Merry Wishes set. All the patterned paper used is from the 'Tis the Season line from Bo Bunny.

I love adding all the buttons on to this cute tree! The tree image just matched that patterned paper so perfectly :)

I played along with the SFYTT sketch challenge on this card. It was great to use lots of the different papers from the 'Tis the Season collection.

This little wreath is so darling! It would be perfect for making tags too!

Hope you all had a great holiday weekend! Thanks so much for visiting me!
Hugs,
Rachel Siggy

My husband spoils me so much, so I love going all out for his birthday! He is finally going to have a Pineapple Dole Whip. It's the best frozen treat ever!!! Ok I am going to have one too. Hee Hee! My buddy at work also told me today that there is a free Iphone App that gives you the wait times for each ride at Disneyland. Yup, there's an app for that! LOL! Just added it and can't wait to test it out today. Well since my hubby is such a Superman, I thought that the Superman Cuppie from the Taylored Expressions Trick or Sweet II set was just perfect for his card. So what goes super with Superman Cuppie? TESC86 - Let it Snow!

Hola Amigas! I have been working a lot on cards lately and wanted to stop for a bit to post this card for the current Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. I love Taylor's Sketches and this one was another great one. I wanted to use one of my favorite Christmas sets Home Sweet Home. Yes, because it contains a Gingerbread house of course but also because I am partial to the Snowman Cuppie. I just love him. He just looks so cute in that top hat. I also wanted to use more of that adorable Colorful Christmas line by My Mind's Eye. Can you tell I am wishing for winter? Ok, so it won't snow in Orange County, but I can dream. I will be taking a visit this winter to the snow, so I am very excited for that trip. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend and thanks for visiting!

My Cute Stamps Weekend - Day 1 Continued

Whooo's ready for Halloween? Can you believe it will be next month? I am so happy I got this set. It is just too cute! Here is the super cute owl from the Happy Owl-oween set by My Cute Stamps. I was eager to try out this week's card tutorial from SCS. The tutorial was actually made from a card orignally created by my fellow My Cute Stamps DT Member, Michelle Wooderson. I knew this owl would be a perfect fit. I paper pieced him with my favorite Bo Bunny Double Dot paper. Just can't stop paper piecing with this great stamp set. Thanks for visiting me for Day One of My Cute Stamps Weekend. Be sure to stop by tomorrow for Day Two.
