My Cute Stamps Weekend - Day 1 Continued

Whooo's ready for Halloween? Can you believe it will be next month? I am so happy I got this set. It is just too cute! Here is the super cute owl from the Happy Owl-oween set by My Cute Stamps. I was eager to try out this week's card tutorial from SCS. The tutorial was actually made from a card orignally created by my fellow My Cute Stamps DT Member, Michelle Wooderson. I knew this owl would be a perfect fit. I paper pieced him with my favorite Bo Bunny Double Dot paper. Just can't stop paper piecing with this great stamp set. Welcome to My Cute Stamps Weekend! I LOVE Halloween and My Cute Stamps. And together they are fabulous! I love making tags for gifts and treats. Stampendous News!

Woo Hoo! I have being bursting to tell you all for weeks that I am an official Design Team Member for Stampendous! I was contacted by Stampendous last month asking if I would like to be part of the upcoming catalog Design Team. I honestly was so overcome with joy! I have been such a huge fan of Stampendous for many years. Some of my very first stamps are Stampendous stamps. I think I own every Calendar Chick stamp. It was my very first stamp collection. TE Birthday Bash Last Call

HELLO! I kept thinking it was Tuesday today and that I had one more day to complete the TE Birthday Bash Challenges. Ummm ... it's Wednesday! Well it looks like I may only be able to do this last one, as I am so exhausted from work and this past weekend. I really wanted to do Jodi's color challenge, as these type of challenges are the hardest ones for me. I wanted to keep the look more clean, since the colors are so vibrant and pretty. Jodi picked some really great colors for the TEBBJC Challenge. I hope you all got a chance to play. I was hoping to catch up to my friend, Ryann, but she was on fire! Moxie Fab Stamping Challenge!

Hi ya! It's Sunday & I am still stamping. Just love this new Merry Mint collection by American Crafts. It's my fav - Gingerbread! Woo Hoo! I still have some more gingerbread stuff coming. I made this card for the Moxie Fab World Stamping Challenge. I really loved the paper so much I only stamped the sentiments. Stamping only the sentiments was a real stretch for me. The center of the card reminded me of one of my favorite Christmas cookie platters. This was a fun card to make, since it was simple. Taylored Expressions Birthday Bash!

Happy Saturday! I thought this weekend would NEVER get here. I haven't been able to stamp much, except for the swap cards I made. I will be posting those up hopefully next week. I couldn't wait for the weekend to stamp for the Taylored Expressions Birthday Bash! Big Congrats to Taylor and the TE crew! I am huge fan of Taylored Expressions and I am so glad for the long weekend to play along with all of their fun challenges. The first card I wanted to share is for the TEBBDB (Paper Piecing) & TEBBDE (Paper Tole) challenges. You can visit the Stamp a Sweet Impression blog for a complete listing of all 13 challenges. My BFF, Pilar, needed a hot air balloon thank you card. It had to be masculine as well. That was a challenge in itself. Luckily I had the adorable Fly Away set from the Greeting Farm. I used some of my Bo Bunny stash for the paper piecing. I popped up the hot air balloon pieces and sentiment with 3D Foam Tape. To keep the look more masculine I decided to put the sentiment on the balloon to mask the heart. I could have easily not stamped the heart, however I was going nuts looking for my Memento dew drop pad with no luck. Sentiments are great for covering up stuff. I am sneaky like that... LOL! Well I hope you get a chance to join the party! I will be back with more this weekend.
