iCopic Weekly Challenge #35 - Thanks Friend!

Happy Monday! Are you ready for another great iCopic Weekly Challenge? This challenge happens to be a favorite of mine. The challenge is to color on something other than smooth white paper. Just think Kraft, Vanilla, Watercolor, Textured or any other kind of paper you can think of other than smooth white. I am pretty sure you can guess by now how much I love Kraft paper. I really love to use my Copics to color on Kraft. The darker paper gives your coloring a deeper richer look. For my challenge card I decided on using the adorable Critters in the Forest set by Lawn Fawn. I just knew the raccoon and log would look great colored on Kraft cardstock. I started off by coloring the log using a trio of browns (E34, E35 & E37) and colored the leaves in using (YG23 & YG25). Next I colored that cute raccoon using a trio of warm grays for the body (W1, W3 & W5) and colored his face using cool grays (C4, C7 & C9). Using the warm grays and kraft paper really gave the raccoon that perfect blend of gray & brown fur. I added just a touch of white to his face to highlight the eyes. Isn't he too cute? Ready to play along for a chance to win a wonderful iCopic prize and to be featured on the iCopic Blog? Woo Hoo! Be sure to visit the iCopic Blog for the full challenge rules and to link your Challenge Card Entry. Happy Stamping!

Can't wait to see your fabulous entries! Have fun and thanks for visiting!

Birthday Party Across The Miles!

Welcome to the Fantasy Birthday Tour for our sweet friend Taylor VanBruggen. We decided on throwing a Virtual Birthday Party Across the Miles for her and everyone is invited to come along! Hopefully you arrived from Sankari Wegman's blog, but if you didn't you might want to start off at Jami Sibley's blog. Well to make this party even more fun we decided on giving her fantasy gifts as well, so if money were no object my gift to Taylor would be ...

A Fabulous Spa Day!!!!

Taylor would enjoy a full day of spa treatments including a manicure, pedicure, facial and a Swedish massage. I know that the mommy to be could use some pampering and relaxation. Especially after her 2 day garage sale. LOL! Taylor is an amazing, sweet and kind person and I am truly honored to call her my friend! Happy Birthday Taylor and enjoy your spa day! Hopefully when you opened your mailbox you received this little birthday wish below.

Be sure to stop by and leave Taylor some birthday wishes! The party wouldn't be the same without you! Next up for our Virtual Birthday Party Across the Miles is the amazing Regina Mangum.

Thanks for visiting and Happy Sunday!

Jumbo Stampendous Blog Hop!!!

Hello Friends! Welcome to another Jumbo Stampendous Blog Hop! This time we are featuring 3 new amazing additions to the Cling Jumbo Sets. I am so excited to share today's project with you. I absolutely in LOVE with these Cling Jumbo Sets. Today I am sharing a project I created using the Cling Jumbo Tulip Set. This beauty is so bold and elegant. The large size makes it perfect for card making, scrapbooking and 3D items. It's a triple threat! I have been hoarding these kraft handle bags and finally found the perfect use for them. I started off by stamping the beautiful flourish that comes in the set with Versamark ink. I wanted to add a pattern to the bag, but not distract from that gorgeous tulip. Next I stamped the birthday sentiment and stamped the tulip image using that wonderful Jumbo Perfectly Clear Handle. This handle is a must have. It makes it so easy to stamp your Jumbo Cling images. I colored the tulip with Copic markers and added some lovely sparkle using Sheer Shimmer Spritz. I cut out the tulip and add 3D foam tape to really make the tulip pop off the bag. This is a easy project to mass produce and have several custom gift bags available for gift giving. Ready to see more? Your next stop is a visit to the sweet and wonderful Kristine Reynolds. See our complete list of hopper below.

Be sure to visit all the Stampendous Design Team Members to see their lovely creations and for inspiration for using these beautiful new Cling Jumbo Sets. You also have the chance to win one of these gorgeous Cling Jumbo sets along with the Jumbo Perfectly Clear Handle. How amazing is that? Just by simply leaving a comment on each blog stop between Saturday, June 11th and Wednesday, June 15th. The winners will be announced on the Stampendous Blog on Friday, June 17th. Happy Hopping!

TESC140 - I want to have my cake ...

Happy Friday! Woo Hoo! So looking forward to the weekend! Let's start off by having some fun with the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. Well, I started going back to the gym this week and let's just say it was the inspiration for today's card. I remember now why I stopped going... hee hee hee! Don't we all wish to be able to eat cake and have a skinny waist too? LOL! So since I have had to cut back on the sweets. I thought making zero calorie paper cakes would be best. This super cute cake slice is from the TE set called Sweet Friends. All those slices just look so yummy. Hmm... maybe not a good idea to make a card so tempting. LOL! I thought I would send this off to my workout buddy a.k.a my BFF. She will get a kick out of it, but possibly scold me for making her think of cake. I am sure you all are going to be coming up with some wonderful creations of your own for this sketch. What could be more tempting than a chance to win a wonderful TE prize? I hope you will join in on the fun. As always you can get the full challenge details at the TE Forum.
