Taylored Expressions: Share Joy Campaign

The Share Joy campaign is an invitation to celebrate the joy of card making and to share that joy with others.  The gift of a handmade card can bring a smile to anyone’s face, and we want to bring as many smiles as we can to the faces of people around the world!  Please join us in creating and sending handmade cards that will make a difference in the lives of others.

This is just the beginning and TE will be donating the cards to various charities as time goes on and TE is starting by sending this first batch of cards to hospital chaplains throughout the U.S.  We are thrilled to have you join us! Please know that TE stamps are not required, unless you would like to be considered for the opportunity to have you card featured on the TE Store homepage.
I created this card using the beautiful fresh flowers stamp set by Taylored Expressions.  I also added a little cute wooden butterfly to accent the wonderful floral image.  I love card making as it truly does bring joy to the person who receives it.  It is also very fun and relaxing to make cards.  I just love seeing the smiles a handmade card brings. Please join us in bringing joy to others.  Please visit this page for all the details: http://tayloredexpressions.com/share-joy

Please be sure and visit these wonderful gals below who are also sharing the joy:

Bloglovin'

Follow my blog with Bloglovin

Hi Friends! Sadly today is the last day for Google Reader, so I have added a button here so you can easily follow me via Bloglovin'.  It was super easy to transfer all the blogs I follow to Bloglovin'.  It literally took about a minute.  Hope you are all doing well and I will be back to posting on a regular basis starting in July.  I looking forward to catching up with all of you!
Hugs,
Rach

Have a Moo-valous Birthday!

Happy Sunday! Got any plans for today?  I am happy to be spending the day with my hubby and go on a little outing later before coming back home to watch the Golden Globes.  Before I go I wanted to share with you a birthday card I made using this udderly (lol) cute image from Stampendous called Cowlik Cake.  I colored the darling Cowlik with Copics and added a little sparkle to the cake using Multi Fine Crystal Glitter.  I cut out the image and popped it up with some foam tape onto a polka dot & doily base.  The yellow cardstock was embossed with the Seeing Spots embossing folder (Cricut), stitched and layered onto Kraft cardstock. The Happy Birthday sentiment is from the Birthday Assortment PCS set and was stamped onto pink cardstock. The final touch was added with a cute yellow button with a bit of pink & white divine twine.

Hope you have a wonderful Sunday! I'm in full award season mode and can't wait to see all the award shows.  I still have several nominated movies I need to see.  I'm really looking forward to seeing Silver Linings Playbook.  If you have seen it, let me know what you thought of it.  Catch ya later!
Thanks for stopping by!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year Friends! I hope the new year has welcomed you with great joy! I've been away for awhile and taking in lots of family time.  So happy to come into the new year fresh and ready to go.  I am excited for all the new and exciting adventures this year has in store.  I hope you will join me as I share my adventures and creations with you.  Let's start off with a little rewind from last month.  I fell in love with the Make it Merry collection from October Afternoon the moment I saw it.  The vintage images are adorable and I knew this would be the collection to use for my Christmas Cards.  Since the holiday season was flying by and I was beginning to feel the pressure to complete all the things I wanted to create.  I knew the Make a Card 12x12 sheet would be perfect for making fast and fun cards.  Here are 5 of the cards I created using the images from the Make a Card 12x12 sheet and other patterned papers from the Make it Merry Collection.

These cards came together so quickly and I loved it! I was able to get my cards done so fast with only adding a few touches to the cards. I picked a portion of each image that I wanted to highlight and added Stardust Stickles.  I wanted to conserve my Tim Holtz Silver Tinsel Twine just in case I needed to make extra cards, so I just added a bit of  Scor-Tape to adhere to the side or bottom of each image.  This tinsel has great sparkle and I ended up barely using half of the tinsel, so I still have plenty to use on future projects.

Hope you enjoyed my little rewind and I'll be back soon to share more.
Have a great day and thanks for visiting!
