Happy Birthday Sweet Thing!

Hi Friends! How was your weekend? I had a fabulous Sunday with my hubby at Disneyland. It was a beautiful day, but so HOT! I think that's why the park wasn't too crowded. We stayed as long as we could take the heat and came home to relax. After my nice little nap I got to spend some time stamping a birthday card using the Sweet Thing stamp by Penny Black. I have had this stamp for awhile and was so happy I finally got to use it. Last weekend I got together with a group of friends for some stamping and dinner. Jami had the great idea for us to choose a stamp from the one of the ones we brought and all of us make a card using the same image. We all agreed this sweet image was the one. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic Markers. I paper pieced the cupcake wrapper with Kraft cardstock and the icing with Bo Bunny double dot paper. I used a white gel pen to add dots to her dress and added lots of Stardust Stickles for sparkle. Be sure to stop by and visit Jami, Lisa, and Jen and show them some love for their wonderful creations.

Thanks for visiting and Have a Sweet Monday!
Rachel Siggy

STMC25 - Bake up some special memories

Hi Friends! Welcome to the weekend and a Stampendous Saturday Sketch Challenge! It’s my turn this week to provide all you challenge seekers this week’s sketch. Check it out below… I got all fancy and added a bow. LOL! My sketch card stars the brand new Stampendous cling rubber set – Cookie Memories. The sweet girl image reminds me so much of my niece. I imagine one day soon when she is older we will be baking up a storm for the holidays. I must say it was those darling gingerbread cookies that truly captured my heart. I stamped out the image on white cardstock with Memento ink and colored it in with Copic Markers. I also stamped the image on top of the pink patterned paper and popped up the colored image over it at the very end. I hope you like it! I LOVE this set! We would love to see your creations using this sketch. So come on and play along with us and your entry could win you a fabulous prize from Stampendous. TESC129 - Thanks for always being by my side

It’s Friday! I LOVE Fridays! Fridays mean casual dress day at work, start of the weekend and the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. All great things!!! For this week’s TE Sketch Challenge 129. I used the sweet Cuppie Love Scenes set by TE. I made this card for my darling hubby. He is ALWAYS by my side. He is my rock and he can always make me smile. We have so much fun together and just when I think he can get any sweeter… he does! God has truly blessed me with this wonderful man. Ok enough mushy stuff and onto what you really want to know… the deets on the card. LOL! Well I was so jealous of all the gorgeous Pixie-Licious patterned paper everyone was using during the TE Birthday bash. I just knew I had to have this paper and exactly which pattern would be perfect for the couch. I paper pieced the couch and added the Cuppies by coloring & cutting them out on a separate piece of white cardstock. I also popped them up with some 3D foam tape for dimension. I used my handy dandy Copics for all the coloring and some Stardust stickles to make the hearts sparkle. Hope you enjoyed today’s card and will play along with us. Taylored Expressions will also be having another Blast from the Past blog hop on October 22nd. We would love to see all your TE creations. You can get the details by clicking on the Blog Hop badge on my sidebar.

Happy Birthday Sweet Friend!

Hi Friends! I am always running late on birthday cards, but today I got it right. I want to wish my sweet friend Patricia a very Happy Birthday today! She is an amazing friend with a big heart. She is simply wonderful and I am so proud to call her my friend. I made this card using some of my favorite Wild Rose stamps by A Muse. They are so pretty! I also love making tent topper cards. They come together so easily and are fun to make. I first stamped the Wild Rose Branch stamp with Tea Leaves ink (VersaMagic). I then inked up the Wild Rose stamped images with Spring Pansy ink (VersaMagic) and then rocked the edges with Purple Hydrangea ink (VersaMagic). Very easy and I love the soft look of chalk inks. I added some sparkle with Multi Ultra Fine Crystal Glitter. Hope you have a fabulous birthday, Patricia! I hope all of you have a fabulous Sunday!

Thanks for visiting and join me tomorrow for more from Stampendous!

Sweet Snowy Angel!

Hi Friends! It's the weekend and I have been looking forward to this day to spend some stamping time with a couple of my TESC sketch crew buddies. Before I do that I wanted to share another Stampendous holiday card using the sweet Snowy Angel stamp. I added some texture using Cotton Ball White Fun Flock and Crystal Snow Glitter. The glitter really makes the snow sparkle. I also added the pretty red foil Merry Christmas sentiment from the Holiday Greetings sticker pack. The snowflake background was created using the snowflakes from the Super Snowman sticker pack. I LOVE Stampendous stickers. The velvet snowflakes feel so soft and add such a nice element to any card. Hope you have a fantastic Saturday!

TESC128 - Happy Halloween!

Happy Friday! Are you ready for another spooktacular Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge? Hope so because this one is a goodie! I just received my Lawn Fawn order which included the new Heebie Jeebies set. I couldn't wait to ink it up for this week's sketch challenge. This is what I like to call my fast and furious card. LOL! It was coming together so fast I couldn't believe it. I was amazed and so happy.... until the furious part came in. I could not tie the bow for the life of me. It kept slipping out of my hands or coming out all crooked. I thought I was losing all coordination or my mind. Grrrr.... Luckily I focused on that cute ribbon and got it tied. LOL! I still got the card done faster than I normally do so I was all smiles. I used the cute Bo Bunny Whoo-ligans patterned paper along with some of my fav Wasabi Double Dot paper. Is it possible to own too much Double Dot paper? I didn't think so either. LOL! I added some sparkle to the spider web with Taylor's Tiny Twinkles and embellished the background with some Dot Sparklers. Hope you can play along with us this week. Taylor will be looking for her Top Crops and it could be you!

Elf Wishes!

Hola Amigas! I'm back with another Stampendous share. This time with the more traditional red and green color combo. This darling Elf is part of the fantastic stamp set called Elf Wishes. This set also includes the cutest Santa Claus image too. This is one of my favorite sets because it's just off the charts cute. If you think this set is too cute you will pass out when you see the Snowy Short Stacks set. LOL! At least I did when I first saw it! I will be dedicating a whole week to this set soon. It's just that wonderful!! I was all smiles as I created this card. I loved coloring this cutie and adding the Cotton Ball White Fun Flock to his cap and coat trims. The fuzzy texture really gave the image a cozy feel. I hope you liked today's Stampendous share. Be sure to join me tomorrow for more fun!

Thanks for visiting and have your elf an amazing day! (somebody stop me! lol!)

Jumbo Snowman!

Hi Friends! I am up late tonight stamping away and wanted to share with you another Stampendous winter favorite of mine.... JUMBO Snowman. He's fun, jolly and cute! This card was so easy to make using this wonderful image. His jumbo size fills lots of space on the card. Just making the card making process so much faster. I simply stamped him onto the light blue cardstock and then stamped him out again onto white cardstock. I cut his body out of the white cardstock and matted him onto the light blue cardstock. Cutting him out was a breeze too with his jumbo size. I simply stamped the sentiment and added some Jumbo Snowflake Class A'Peel Stickers. Wow! I guess everything was jumbo on this card. LOL! A super fast & fun holiday card! Great for mass producing and those Jumbo Snowflakes have such a wonderful velvet texture.
Thanks for stopping by today! I will have more for you tomorrow!

Happy Saturday!!! It's time for another fabulous Stampendous Sketch Challenge. This week's amazing sketch is brought to us by Pam. You have to stop by and visit her blog to see her fangtastic creation! She also challenged us to do some paper piecing as well. I decided on paper piecing the S-U-N letters with different coordinating Bo Bunny papers. I used the Fun in the Sun clear set, as I am still trying to hold onto summer a little while longer. The Bo Bunny -Sun Kissed line was so great to use with this set. I love, love, love bright colors! Can you tell? LOL! We would love it for you to create something using this sketch along with a little paper piecing. If you would like to play along, then just pop on over to the Stampendous Blog and leave a comment for the STMC22 blog post with a link to your fabulous creation.
