TE Blast from the Past Blog Hop!

Hola Amigas! Happy Friday! Looking forward to the weekend and so happy to get it started with the Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past Blog Hop! The challenge for today's hop was to create Christmas / Holiday card, so I had to use my favorite Snowman Cuppie. This cutie is from the wonderful Home Sweet Home set. So you know I am a big Cuppie fan, but did you know I am also a big Bakerella fan too. She also loves Cuppie, so I took him along with me to her book signing event. I was so thrilled to see our pic here. Cuppie looks great! Cuppie is so fun and just the perfect sweet image for your Christmas / Holiday cards. I used some colorful Echo Paper patterned paper and added some sparkle with snowflakes covered with Stardust Stickles and glitter buttons! Bling! Bling! I know you can't wait to see the rest of the amazing hoppers. Be sure to leave them some love.

Thanks for visiting and have a splendid day!

TESC131 - Let's "Hang Out"

Hi Friends! Sorry I am playing along with this week's Taylored Expressions Challenge 131 so late. I caught a cold and it's honestly taken me 3 days to finish this card. I couldn't work on it more than a few minutes at a time, so I kept working on it bit by bit. I am so happy I got to finish it. I used the spooky and sweet Cling Hang Out Spider set by Stampendous along with some of my favorite Halloween patterned paper by Bo Bunny. I started off by paper piecing the background of the spider image by stamping the image onto some green patterned paper. I stamped the image 2 more times on white cardstock. The first stamped image was used to color the spider and candy corn. The second stamped image was used as my main image layer. I layered the green cut out of patterned paper and then added the colored/ cut spider and candy corn with 3D foam tape. I hope you like it and can play along with this week's sketch. Just a reminder there is another fabulous Blast from the Past blog hop coming up on October 22nd. If you would like to join in on the fun just click on the badge on my sidebar for all the details.

Just A Blog Hop!

Welcome to Just A Blog Hop! We were invited to put aside all of our stamping oriented obligations and deadlines and create something just for fun. The hop guidelines were simple: choose a challenge to play and choose either a new uninked stamp or an old favorite, create a card and mail it to someone. What could be better to celebrate World Card Making Day? If you arrived here from the blog of the fabulous Rosie Hughes then you are on the right track. I you would like to start from the beginning then hop on over to Jami Sibley's amazing blog. I chose to play with along with the fun ESS Sketchy Thursday 102 using this wonderful new stamp set from Waltzing Mouse called Bountiful Baskets Additions. I am so happy it's October. I love the Fall and I love shopping for pumpkins to decorate the house. I love the sentiment... Let us give thanks. I am so thankful I have been blessed with so many wonderful friends and this one is going out to one of them. I hope you spend your World Card Making Day just having some fun with all your favorite stamps. I know I will! The Just A Blog Hop fun continues onto the blog of the super talented Sankari Wegman. Be sure to get your stamps out and just have FUN!!!

Thanks for visiting and Happy World Cardmaking Day!!!!!!!!!!

TESC130 - HOPE

Happy October! Today's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge card was made in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. I have family and friends who have survived breast cancer. I am very grateful to have these amazing ladies in my life. They are truly inspiring. My card features the Stampendous - Ribbon Hope Perfectly Clear Stamp Set. I started by creating my fan fold flower following this SCS tutorial. I then stamped the ribbon image onto Bo Bunny Double Dot patterned paper, cut out the image and added it to the center of my flower. I created my layers using my favorite My Mind's Eye patterned paper and stamped the HOPE sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I hope you enjoy playing with this week's sketch. It was designed by our very own Rosie Hughes. We all hope you can take some time out to play along with us. We look forward to seeing your creations and Taylor will be looking for her Top Crops too. Be sure to visit Taylor on Monday as Taylored Expressions will begin their Sneak Peeks for their October release. I can't wait to see what will be coming out!

Happy Birthday Sweet Thing!

Hi Friends! How was your weekend? I had a fabulous Sunday with my hubby at Disneyland. It was a beautiful day, but so HOT! I think that's why the park wasn't too crowded. We stayed as long as we could take the heat and came home to relax. After my nice little nap I got to spend some time stamping a birthday card using the Sweet Thing stamp by Penny Black. I have had this stamp for awhile and was so happy I finally got to use it. Last weekend I got together with a group of friends for some stamping and dinner. Jami had the great idea for us to choose a stamp from the one of the ones we brought and all of us make a card using the same image. We all agreed this sweet image was the one. I stamped the image with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored it with Copic Markers. I paper pieced the cupcake wrapper with Kraft cardstock and the icing with Bo Bunny double dot paper. I used a white gel pen to add dots to her dress and added lots of Stardust Stickles for sparkle. Be sure to stop by and visit Jami, Lisa, and Jen and show them some love for their wonderful creations.

Thanks for visiting and Have a Sweet Monday!

STMC25 - Bake up some special memories

Hi Friends! Welcome to the weekend and a Stampendous Saturday Sketch Challenge! It’s my turn this week to provide all you challenge seekers this week’s sketch. Check it out below… I got all fancy and added a bow. LOL! My sketch card stars the brand new Stampendous cling rubber set – Cookie Memories. The sweet girl image reminds me so much of my niece. I imagine one day soon when she is older we will be baking up a storm for the holidays. I must say it was those darling gingerbread cookies that truly captured my heart. I stamped out the image on white cardstock with Memento ink and colored it in with Copic Markers. I also stamped the image on top of the pink patterned paper and popped up the colored image over it at the very end. I hope you like it! I LOVE this set! TESC129 - Thanks for always being by my side

It’s Friday! I LOVE Fridays! Fridays mean casual dress day at work, start of the weekend and the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. All great things!!! For this week’s TE Sketch Challenge 129. I used the sweet Cuppie Love Scenes set by TE. I made this card for my darling hubby. He is ALWAYS by my side. He is my rock and he can always make me smile. We have so much fun together and just when I think he can get any sweeter… he does! God has truly blessed me with this wonderful man. Ok enough mushy stuff and onto what you really want to know… the deets on the card. LOL! Well I was so jealous of all the gorgeous Pixie-Licious patterned paper everyone was using during the TE Birthday bash. I just knew I had to have this paper and exactly which pattern would be perfect for the couch. I paper pieced the couch and added the Cuppies by coloring & cutting them out on a separate piece of white cardstock. I also popped them up with some 3D foam tape for dimension. I used my handy dandy Copics for all the coloring and some Stardust stickles to make the hearts sparkle. Hope you enjoyed today’s card and will play along with us. Taylored Expressions will also be having another Blast from the Past blog hop on October 22nd. We would love to see all your TE creations. Happy Birthday Sweet Friend!

Hi Friends! I am always running late on birthday cards, but today I got it right. I want to wish my sweet friend Patricia a very Happy Birthday today! She is an amazing friend with a big heart. She is simply wonderful and I am so proud to call her my friend. I made this card using some of my favorite Wild Rose stamps by A Muse. They are so pretty! I also love making tent topper cards. They come together so easily and are fun to make. I first stamped the Wild Rose Branch stamp with Tea Leaves ink (VersaMagic). I then inked up the Wild Rose stamped images with Spring Pansy ink (VersaMagic) and then rocked the edges with Purple Hydrangea ink (VersaMagic). Very easy and I love the soft look of chalk inks. I added some sparkle with Multi Ultra Fine Crystal Glitter. Hope you have a fabulous birthday, Patricia! I hope all of you have a fabulous Sunday!

Thanks for visiting and join me tomorrow for more from Stampendous!
