Elzybells Challenge 35

Hello Friends! I am back with another Elzybells Valentine to share. This time I am playing along with Elzybells Challenge 35 to create your own patterned paper. I really love hearts, so I wanted my patterned paper to be filled with them. I used the row of hearts from the Tags - Valentine II set and added dots with a white gel pen to fill in the spaces between. The Elzybells clear sets offer so much variety which gives you so many options for creating backgrounds. I am so happy about the Elzybells release! I have my eye on so many things, especially those buttons! They are so CUTE!!!
I hope you all get a chance to play along with us. Be sure to stop by and visit the rest of the Design Team to see the patterned paper they have created:

TESC98 - Birthdays are the best

It's time again for another Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. This week's challenge TESC98 was fabulous for buttons, so I added a lot of my stash buttons to create this girlie birthday card. It's been a fun week for me to get a chance to do lots of stamping and be able to share it with you all. I really need to catch up on cardmaking, especially birthday cards. It seems like I am always running around trying to make them at the last minute. Sometimes I even have to *gasp* buy one. LOL! So of course, I knew that this week's TESC card would be a birthday one. I have been hoarding away on my patterned paper from Cosmo Cricket. I really love this sweet Girl Friday line and I finally had the strength to cut into it. LOL! I used the PTI Blooming Button bits set for the main image and sentiment. I added some various PTI buttons for the flowers and embellishment around the sentiment. This card was fun and fast to make. My favorite combo!

Thanks for visiting and I hope you all get a chance to play along with us. Be sure to stop by and visit the rest of the Sketch Crew to see what they have created:

Elzybells Sneak Peeks - Day 3

Happy Sunday! It's Day Three of the Elzybells Sneak Peeks. I am so excited to share with you today 2 new clear stamp sets to be released tomorrow. Tags Valentine and Tags Valentine II are wonderful sets to create both cards and tags. I made both options so you can see how easy it is to create both from these versatile sets. I really love making tags because they are easy and fast to create. You can simply add a handmade tag to a gift box or bag and it just adds a special touch. I used the Colour Co-ordinates pigment inks in Chocolate Brownie, Strawberry Fool, Pink Lemondade and Sugar Candy for all the stamping. I matted the stamped images with Chocolate Brownie textured cardstock. This first duo is a fun Valentine set that has lots of colors and a clean and simple style. Both can be easily mass produced for classmates or co-workers.
With this second duo I was trying to make a more elegant set for that Special Valentine. I was thinking of the big heart my mom has and knew this big beautiful heart from the Tags Valentine II set would be perfect.
I hope you enjoyed today's Sneak Peeks and please be sure to visit the rest of the Design Team for more:

Elzybells Sneak Peeks - Day 2

Welcome back friends for Day 2 of the Elzybells Sneak Peeks! I am just in love with all these adorable Elzybells rubber stamps! This darling girl (with all my hearts) and sentiment (make me happy) will be available for purchase on Monday - Jan. 18th. I know you will want to pick her up because she is just too cute! The Colour Co-ordinates made this card such a breeze. I did all the matting in Chocolate Brownie textured cardstock. I used the Chocolate Brownie pigment ink pad to stamp the sentiment. I added those sweet row of hearts using the Heartstrings clear stamp set with Pink Lemonade pigment ink. Wow! Don't those names sound delicious? LOL! I punched the heart out of Pink Lemonade textured cardstock and added a little button.
Well, I just had to make another card using this cutie. This time I decided she needed a little patterned dress, so I paper pieced her dress to match the background. She seemed like a matchy matchy kind of gal to me. I used the Chocolate Brownie & Pink Lemonade textured cardstock for accents.

Elzybells Sneak Peeks - Day 1

Yippee!!! It's Day One of the fabulous Elzybells Sneak Peeks. I gotta tell you when my package arrived I was absolutely blown away!!! So I just got to tell you all about it! Elzybells is introducing a whole new line named Colour Co-ordinates and all I can say is WOW! The rich & vibrant inks, the beautiful papers and the darling buttons make it so easy to create. The quality is amazing and I was one happy stamper. So let's get this party started! First up I have this fun pocket card (memba them?) using the Heartstrings stamp set. This set has a great variety of heart images and patterns. So cute and sweet!!! I used the solid heart image and stamped 2 hearts using the Strawberry Fool and Pink Lemonade pigment inks on Whipped Cream textured cardstock. I added the heartstrings & sentiment using the Chocolate Brownie pigment ink. I added Pink Lemonade & Chocolate Brownie textured cardstock for layers. I also thought it would be fun to make a little background paper, so I stamped rows of tiny hearts in Strawberry Fool pigment ink onto kraft cardstock. I finished up my card with some glitter and bling for some sparkle. So are you just loving how this Colour Co-ordinates line makes creating so easy and fun? I know I am!

Next up, I used 2 different patterned hearts stamped again with Strawberry Fool & Pink Lemondade inks. I just love how the images come out stamped on the textured cardstock. I wanted to keep the focus on these adorable hearts, so I kept the card clean with just a small button added to one of the hearts for embellishment. It was so hard to decide which heart patterns to use. I loved them all! Heartstrings is really a must have Valentine's set and will be available on January 18th.
Wanna see more? Well get on over and visit the rest of the Elzybells to see what they have in store just for you!

This week's card for TESC97 was made using a new Hero Arts stamp set I picked up at my LSS this week. Happy New Year!!!!

Happy New Year Friends! What a great way to celebrate the day with a Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge! I am looking forward to all the new TE sketches and new releases for 2010. TESC96 is so fun! Love the layers! I flipped the sketch upside down and created the card using one of my favorite Cuppies from the TE set Love is Sweet. Cuppie loves sweets just like me. It's hard to believe Cuppie could be standing next to all that chocolate and not gobble them all up. Cuppie knows portion control!

Cuppie also knows that the rest of the TE Sketch Crew have come up with some amazing creations for you to see. So be sure to stop by and visit them and wish them a Happy New Year!
