TESC134 - Sweetest Holiday Wishes

Hi Friends & Happy Friday!!! Can you believe Christmas is just around the corner? I thought this week's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge would be the perfect opportunity to make another Christmas card for my holiday stash. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this Gingerbread Man Sizzix die. Isn't he so cute? I paired up this cutie with some more wonderful Echo Park patterned paper. I love all the different colors. So festive! I also added a strip of some Bo Bunny double dot paper too. I am thinking of making something similar to this for this year's Christmas card. It's hard to resist this adorable gingerbread man. Are you ready to play along with us? TESC132 - Fa la la la la

Happy Friday! Are you prepared for the Halloween weekend? I am looking forward to passing out candy and seeing all the cute kids. So no tricks today, just a Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge treat. Our very own super sweet and very talented, Jami, designed this week's sketch and it's just fabulous! I am using the adorable Home Sweet Home set again this week because I don't get to use this cute Caroling Cuppie enough. I paired up the image with some pretty Very Merry - October Afternoon patterned paper. I hope you enjoyed today's card and will find some time to play along with us this week. TE Blast from the Past Blog Hop!

Hola Amigas! Happy Friday! Looking forward to the weekend and so happy to get it started with the Taylored Expressions Blast from the Past Blog Hop! The challenge for today's hop was to create Christmas / Holiday card, so I had to use my favorite Snowman Cuppie. This cutie is from the wonderful Home Sweet Home set. So you know I am a big Cuppie fan, but did you know I am also a big Bakerella fan too. She also loves Cuppie, so I took him along with me to her book signing event. I was so thrilled to see our pic here. Cuppie looks great! Cuppie is so fun and just the perfect sweet image for your Christmas / Holiday cards. I used some colorful Echo Paper patterned paper and added some sparkle with snowflakes covered with Stardust Stickles and glitter buttons! Bling! Bling! I know you can't wait to see the rest of the amazing hoppers. Be sure to leave them some love.

TESC131 - Let's "Hang Out"

Hi Friends! Sorry I am playing along with this week's Taylored Expressions Challenge 131 so late. I caught a cold and it's honestly taken me 3 days to finish this card. I couldn't work on it more than a few minutes at a time, so I kept working on it bit by bit. I am so happy I got to finish it. I used the spooky and sweet Cling Hang Out Spider set by Stampendous along with some of my favorite Halloween patterned paper by Bo Bunny. I started off by paper piecing the background of the spider image by stamping the image onto some green patterned paper. I stamped the image 2 more times on white cardstock. The first stamped image was used to color the spider and candy corn. The second stamped image was used as my main image layer. I layered the green cut out of patterned paper and then added the colored/ cut spider and candy corn with 3D foam tape. I hope you like it and can play along with this week's sketch. TESC130 - HOPE

Happy October! Today's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge card was made in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month. I have family and friends who have survived breast cancer. I am very grateful to have these amazing ladies in my life. They are truly inspiring. My card features the Stampendous - Ribbon Hope Perfectly Clear Stamp Set. I started by creating my fan fold flower following this SCS tutorial. I then stamped the ribbon image onto Bo Bunny Double Dot patterned paper, cut out the image and added it to the center of my flower. I created my layers using my favorite My Mind's Eye patterned paper and stamped the HOPE sentiment with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I hope you enjoy playing with this week's sketch. It was designed by our very own Rosie Hughes. We all hope you can take some time out to play along with us. We look forward to seeing your creations and Taylor will be looking for her Top Crops too. TESC129 - Thanks for always being by my side

It’s Friday! I LOVE Fridays! Fridays mean casual dress day at work, start of the weekend and the Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. All great things!!! For this week’s TE Sketch Challenge 129. I used the sweet Cuppie Love Scenes set by TE. I made this card for my darling hubby. He is ALWAYS by my side. He is my rock and he can always make me smile. We have so much fun together and just when I think he can get any sweeter… he does! God has truly blessed me with this wonderful man. Ok enough mushy stuff and onto what you really want to know… the deets on the card. LOL! Well I was so jealous of all the gorgeous Pixie-Licious patterned paper everyone was using during the TE Birthday bash. I just knew I had to have this paper and exactly which pattern would be perfect for the couch. I paper pieced the couch and added the Cuppies by coloring & cutting them out on a separate piece of white cardstock. I also popped them up with some 3D foam tape for dimension. I used my handy dandy Copics for all the coloring and some Stardust stickles to make the hearts sparkle. Hope you enjoyed today’s card and will play along with us. TESC128 - Happy Halloween!

Happy Friday! Are you ready for another spooktacular Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge? Hope so because this one is a goodie! I just received my Lawn Fawn order which included the new Heebie Jeebies set. I couldn't wait to ink it up for this week's sketch challenge. This is what I like to call my fast and furious card. LOL! It was coming together so fast I couldn't believe it. I was amazed and so happy.... until the furious part came in. I could not tie the bow for the life of me. It kept slipping out of my hands or coming out all crooked. I thought I was losing all coordination or my mind. Grrrr.... Luckily I focused on that cute ribbon and got it tied. LOL! I still got the card done faster than I normally do so I was all smiles. I used the cute Bo Bunny Whoo-ligans patterned paper along with some of my fav Wasabi Double Dot paper. Is it possible to own too much Double Dot paper? I didn't think so either. LOL! I added some sparkle to the spider web with Taylor's Tiny Twinkles and embellished the background with some Dot Sparklers. Hope you can play along with us this week. TESC125 - Best Wishes

Happy Friday!!! It's time for another great Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. This week's sketch is for a very happy occasion. My brother is getting married this weekend. I can't believe the day is already here. It went by so fast and now the big day is tomorrow. I used the beautiful Year of Flowers: Violets set from Papertrey Ink along with one of my oldie but goodie SU! sets Elegant Greetings. The main wedding color is Lapis. A lovely deep purple shade. I chose both a light and deep purple to ink up my violets. I wanted the card to look elegant. It was challenging for me not to make something cutesy, so since this is not my normal style I thought I should keep it clean and simple. I added some K&Co. pearls to the center of each flower and added a little bit of shimmer with a Clear Spica pen.

TESC113 - If friends were purses ...

Hi Friends! Happy Friday! How are you all doing? Today's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge was really a favorite of mine. I got to use lots of my favorite things -Cuppie, Bo Bunny Double Dot Paper, Purple and PURSES!!! My friends know how much I love purses. I really do!!! I always have since I can remember. My mom said when I was three I used to always walk around with a little black patent leather purse twirling it around. That was until I would wack myself in the face with it. LOL! Purses are well ... just awesome! So for TESC113, I thought what a great way to tell a friend how much I love them with a card saying "If friends were purses, I'd pick you!" They are so chic walking around with some new handbags. Is that a Lady Dior I see? LOL! It all started with this fun purse paper from Karen Foster Design. I used the Downtown Diva stamp set for the main image and colored it with Copics. I adhered some cut out purses from the patterned paper onto white cardstock and then cut them out again. I added some foam tape and popped them up underneath my main image. So fun and I love all the Purple!!! Ready to play along? Well we are ready to see your amazing creations. TESC112 - Happy Birthday!

Happy Friday! Are you ready for this week's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge? Well here it is! For TESC112 I pulled out one of my favorite TE sets called Sweet Celebration. So many cute Cuppie images. Are you a Cuppie fan? Did you know that today is Release Day at Taylored Expressions? Well hold onto your hats! Cuppie is back with in an adorable Cuppie in the kitchen set. How perfect is that? I can't wait for 8am, so I can get my order in. Woo Hoo! Well Cuppie decided to celebrate a birthday this week, so I created a birthday card for my birthday card stash. I colored the image with Copic Markers and sponged the edges with distress inks. I paper pierced around the circle and popped up the image with foam tape. I used my fav My Mind's Eye - Quite Contrary papers for the background strips. I stamped polka dots on the Kraft background with Versamark ink. Birthday's are fun, so why not make a fun card. You ready for more fun? Well why not make a Kraft card for the That's Krafty Thursday Challenge too! Double the fun in one card!

TESC111 - Life is sweeter ..

Hello Pals! We meet again for another terrific Friday!!! Taylor has come up with another fantastic sketch for us this week. I just love this Sweet Kawaii set from My Cute Stamps. All the images are just so sweet. I paired up the popsicles with a sentiment from Hero Arts. I used some new Doodlebug patterned papers to really tie in the whole sweet theme. I then added some bright PTI buttons to embellish. Do I love bright colors or what? LOL! So what do you think you will create for TESC111? TESC110 - Feliz Cumpleanos!!!

Hola Chicas!!! It's Friday and I am all about the bright colors today. This week's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge was a perfect one to bring back my favorite A Muse stamp of all time. This Pinata stamp is awesome. You can color him any which way and he always looks cute. I kept him to six colors and rotated them for each image. My Feliz Cumpleanos stamp was too large for the sketch, so I used this cute Stampendous Happy Birthday sentiment. Are you loving Taylor's sketch or what? So come on and join us!!!

TESC109 - Wishing you SUNSHINE!

Hola! It's Friday!!! The best day of the week. Let's get on with the Friday Fun! For this week's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge I used this adorable OCL set called Sunshine Cheer. What better wish could there be than to wish someone sunshine? The sun in this set really caught my eye because it was just too cute. I played with the patterned paper to get it to match the sketch. I used another part of the paper to cut out 3 clouds and pop them up to represent the circles in the sketch. I then colored and cut out that cute sun for the main image. I stamped the sentiment onto a strip of green polka dot paper which I mounted on some embossed white cardstock. I added some pretty pink polka dot ribbon and glitter to finish off the card. I just know you will want to play along with us! I can't wait to see what you create and Taylor is always looking for her Top Crops for each sketch challenge. So come join the fun!

TESC108 - Let your heart bloom!

Hi All! IT'S FRIDAY!!!! YAY! Let's get the weekend started with another fun sketch challenge from Taylored Expressions. For TESC108 I wanted to challenge myself to use colors that I don't use often. This pretty patterned paper from We R Memory Keepers was perfect for that. The pretty Poppies were also a perfect match with the Elzybells Floral Fervour & Fervour Sentiments sets. I really love orange Poppies, since I am a California gal. So I wanted to make them stand out. I first stamped one onto cream cardstock, then I stamped and cut out two more and popped them up with foam tape. I added some Cinnamon Stickles to the centers for some sparkle. Hope you like it! Hola Chicas! Happy Good Friday! This week's Taylored Expressions sketch is Sew Lovely, as I got to use my new Lawn Fawn stamps. I knew I had to paper piece that pretty dress and those cute buttons for my embellishment across the bottom. I used the American Crafts - Abode collection for all the patterned paper. I really love those buttons! This sketch is so fun and it really sparked my creativity this week. I hope you can all play along with us for TESC107.
