Howdy Friends! It's Friday and I am still trying to recover from the weekend. I had a blast at my brother's wedding. Everything went perfectly and it was just beautiful. This weekend is starting off with another great Taylored Expressons Sketch Challenge. I can't stop using that adorable Bo Bunny - Petal Pushers patterned paper. It fit so perfectly with the Stampendous - Garden Box Set that I just had to use it again.

STMC20 - Back to School Challenge

Hi Friends! It's Saturday!!! Are you ready for this week's Stampendous Saturday Challenge? This week it's the Back to School Challenge. I used a combination of 2 of my favorite school sets - School for Max (SSC675) and Book Trio (SSC676). Isn't Max the Mouse adorable? I started off by creating my background paper by stamping the A+ stamp all over the Kraft paper with Versafine Onyx Black ink. I added a layer of patterned paper and then I prepared the top layer of patterned paper by using the Binding Edge Edger Punch. I love how it looks like notebook paper. I colored the Max images and apple image using Copics and added a little highlight with a white gel pen. Finally I punched them all out using Nestabilities dies and popped them up on the card with 3D foam tape. So fun! TESC125 - Best Wishes

Happy Friday!!! It's time for another great Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. This week's sketch is for a very happy occasion. My brother is getting married this weekend. I can't believe the day is already here. It went by so fast and now the big day is tomorrow. I used the beautiful Year of Flowers: Violets set from Papertrey Ink along with one of my oldie but goodie SU! sets Elegant Greetings. The main wedding color is Lapis. A lovely deep purple shade. I chose both a light and deep purple to ink up my violets. I wanted the card to look elegant. It was challenging for me not to make something cutesy, so since this is not my normal style I thought I should keep it clean and simple. I added some K&Co. pearls to the center of each flower and added a little bit of shimmer with a Clear Spica pen.

TESC124 - Thanks for being my friend

Hi Friends! It's been so long since I lasted posted and my first post back is a special one. I would like to thank all my wonderful friends for their love and support during this very difficult time. I can't express in words how much all your kindness has meant to me. Your prayers, cards and just being there for me has really filled my heart with comfort. I would like to say a special thank you to my closest friends. You are all truly amazing women and it is my great honor to call you my friends.
