CCM - I Love Dad!

Happy Sunday! I hope you are all having a fantastic weekend! I am back with another great Chi Chi Memories stamp called Happy Daddy's Day. This little boy is so adorable. I started off by coloring the image with Copic Markers. I paired the image with some My Mind's Eye patterned paper. I love all the different colors. I then matted it all onto Kraft cardstock. I loved Friday's sketch, so I played with it a little again. I added some Bo Buuny double dot ribbon for the finishing touch. I hope you enjoyed the Chi Chi Memories creations I shared with you this month. Be sure to visit the Chi Chi Memories store to see all their wonderful products. Hope you have a fantastic day!!!

TESC115 - Have a beautiful day!

Hi Friends! It's Friday and the long weekend begins!!!! Woo Hoo!!! You got any plans this weekend? Well I hope it includes a little time to participate in this week's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge. Taylor has come up with another fabulous sketch for us. I started off my card by inking up the cute A Muse - Flutterby Flock stamp in Gingerbread VM Chalk ink. I then used a Deckled Rectangle Nesties die to cut and emboss around the image. I paired up the image with some lovely October Afternoon - Farm Fresh papers that I haven't used yet. I added some pearl colored brads at the top and bottom and finished it off with a fluffy bow. I added the sentiment Have a Beautiful day inside the card. I just love clean and simple cards. They are easy and fun to make. Hope you enjoyed today's card and thanks for visiting. Have a fabulous holiday weekend!!!

P.S. I don't what's up with all the different shades of brown on my card. I think I was playing way too much Pac-Man on Google and lost some of my sight. LOL!

CCM - I heart Freddie

Hi!!! I'm back with another sweet Chi Chi Memories image to share with you. This week I get to work with one of my favorite CCM stamps - Elephant Love. I love this adorable elephant named Freddie. He is just too cute and I had to pair him up with some fun Doodlebug Designs patterned paper. He is so festive and I knew he would be perfect for a birthday card. I colored the image with Copic markers using lots of the different colors from the patterned paper. I love working with the CCM digital images. The images are all so cute and fun to color. I am also a big fan of their sketches. Today's card uses the latest sketch - CCM .SC #6. So do you love Freddie or what? Well he's back with a brand new image called Freddie Loves Daddy. So sweet! Be sure to visit me again on Sunday for more fun with Chi Chi Memories.

Thanks for visiting and Have a Great Day!!!

Elzybells Release Day!

Yippee!!! Today is the day! ELZYBELLS RELEASE DAY!!! To celebrate Release Day and to go with all the wonderful sets that I have given you Sneak Peeks on this week I have one more for you. Today I bring you DIY Dad! This set is close to my heart. My dad is wonderful at fixing things. I have seen him build a garage, repair our plumbing, fix our cars and well just about anything. He is truly a DIY Dad. I made these 2 cards with him in mind. I used the 2 different tool images from the set for my cards. I think I know quite a bit about tools growing up with a handyman such as my dad. Plus how many dad's can say their daughter can drive a forklift? LOL! That's a whole other story. Well my daddy loves tools as I am sure most of your dad's do too and I can't wait for him to see these cards. He likes my cards and well that just makes he so happy. The second card is poking a little fun at him. It's hard to see on the black background, but I stamped the "Work in Progress" stamp all over it. You see even though he can fix anything it doesn't mean it's always gonna get done right away. It may require several trips to Home Depot. LOL! I am so happy I got to share this set with you today and be sure to hop on over to the Elzybells store to see the full stamp release.

Elzybells Sneak Peeks - Day 3

Hello! Are you loving these Elzybells Sneak Peeks? I really hope so because I LOVE this release! Tomorrow is the big day! Today I bring you the delightful new Say it with flowers set. The floral images are so sweet and the everyday sentiments are great. I will be using this set often. My first card has one of my all time fav sentiments ... If friends were flowers I'd pick you. I stayed with my trusty My Mind's Eye - Quite Contrary patterned paper. I love the floral print and it is perfect with this set. I stitched around all the layers and colored in the flower with Copic Markers. I added some ribbon and a flower button to complete the card. My second card features a few of the sweet flower images and another great sentiment. I stamped each image and colored them in with Copic Markers. I punched them out with a 3/4" circle punch and matted them with pink patterned paper punched out with a 7/8" circle punch. Very fun and easy to make. This set is so cute and fun. I hope you enjoyed today's Sneak Peeks! Come visit me tomorrow for Release Day!

TE Blast from the Past Blog Hop

Hi TE Friends! I love Taylored Expressions and I am happy to hop along with my TE buddies. For my Blast from the Past card I chose my most used Taylored Expressions set - Sweet Celebration. I am a HUGE Cuppie fan, so this is my go to set for birthdays. The images are so cute and cupcakes can be colored any color. That's what make this set so great!!! My favorite color of cupcakes is pink, so I colored all the cupcakes pink and gave them kraft wrappers. I used some more of my fav My Mind's Eye patterned paper for the background. I love the sweet colored polka dots. I stitched around the card base and all around the image. This stitching thing is getting addictive. I then stamped the sentiment on kraft paper and added a button to embellish it. Hope you enjoyed your hop to my blog, now be sure to hop on over to see all the wonderful creations my TE friends have in store just for you!

Update: The super sweet felt Cuppie was purchased here. Don't ya just love it?

Elzybells Sneak Peeks - Day 2

Hi Pals! I'm back with some more Elzybells Sneak Peeks just for you! Today I am featuring the super cute Brighter Tomorrow set. This set includes 4 sweet images and 5 great sentiments. This set is so cheery and fun. I felt the cards should be the same. I paired up the stamps with some cute Doodlebug patterned paper. Did you notice anything yet? Yup I finally broke out my Janome Sew Mini and stitched on my cards. I LOVE how the stitching came out. It got a little crazy in some spots, but that just adds character. LOL! My first stitched card was the darling rainbow card. I LOVE LOVE LOVE this rainbow image. So happy and bright! The sentiment is perfect since we are in for a little rain. I colored the rainbow and clouds in with Copic Markers and added some Stardust Stickles for sparkle. I stamped the sentiment on some double dot Bo Bunny patterned paper and wrapped some ribbon around the card to finish it off. My second card has the coolest birdie on the planet. Her future's so bright, she's gotta wear shades. LOL! This image just makes me smile! I stitched around the card base and added red brads to each corner. I then paper pierced around the main image after coloring it in with Copics. I matted the image with some pretty pink double dot Bo Bunny patterned paper. This little birdie wanted to really sparkle, so I covered her cloud with Stardust Stickles. She is just too cute not to brighten someone's day. I hope you love this set!!! It's so happy and cute!!!

Elzybells Sneak Peeks - Day 1

Hello Friends! It's time again for another round of Elzybells Sneak Peeks! I adored the cute birds in last month's The Birds & The Bees collection. So I am thrilled to bring you some more of those adorable birdies in today's Sneak Peek of the new Lovebirds set. This set includes 6 adorable images and 6 wonderful sentiments. The thought the images looked so clean and cute that I didn't want to take anything away from them. I kept both my cards clean and simple to really showcase these sweet birds. My first card features these cute wedding birds. I colored them in lightly with Copic Markers and matted some black cardstock below the image. I punched a lace border on the bottom of the black cardstock and tied some ribbon across the top. I popped up the whole image onto the Kraft cardstock. I stamped my sentiment and heart image on to the Kraft. I finished up the card with some sparkle to the veil and hearts. My second card features these darling lovebirds. I colored the image with Copic Markers in the bright pretty colors of the patterned paper. You know I just gotta have some bright colors in here somewhere. LOL! The pretty patterned paper made the perfect color combo for the images. I used My Mind's Eye Patterned papers and distressed the edges of the base piece and layering strip. I then added ribbon and popped up the main image to the base of the card. Hope you enjoyed these CAS cards featuring the new Elzybells' Lovebirds set.

CCM - Baby Flower

Hi Friends! Are you having a wonderful Sunday? I sure am and this little cutie is bringing lots of cheer. This image is from the Baby Flower Set #3 from Chi Chi Memories. This image is so cute and sure to brighten anyone's day. Chi Chi Memories really makes it easy to create with their digital stamps. They have a fantastic gallery for inspiration and sketches to spark your creativity. I am using the Chi Chi Sketch Challenge #4 to create my card. I started off by coloring the main image with Copic Markers. I then die cut the around the image and added some paper piercing . I die cut a scallop circle into my backgound layer and cut it in half. I separated the two pieces creating more space to place my main image and popped it up with 3D foam tape. I added two strips of patterned paper, 3 red brads to the top left corner and stamped the sentiment just below the image. I am really having lots of fun with these digital stamps, so be sure to stop by and visit Chi Chi Memories. They have lots more fun digital stamps to get you creating.

TESC113 - If friends were purses ...

Hi Friends! Happy Friday! How are you all doing? Today's Taylored Expressions Sketch Challenge was really a favorite of mine. I got to use lots of my favorite things -Cuppie, Bo Bunny Double Dot Paper, Purple and PURSES!!! My friends know how much I love purses. I really do!!! I always have since I can remember. My mom said when I was three I used to always walk around with a little black patent leather purse twirling it around. That was until I would wack myself in the face with it. LOL! Purses are well ... just awesome! So for TESC113, I thought what a great way to tell a friend how much I love them with a card saying "If friends were purses, I'd pick you!" They are so chic walking around with some new handbags. Is that a Lady Dior I see? LOL! It all started with this fun purse paper from Karen Foster Design. I used the Downtown Diva stamp set for the main image and colored it with Copics. I adhered some cut out purses from the patterned paper onto white cardstock and then cut them out again. I added some foam tape and popped them up underneath my main image. So fun and I love all the Purple!!! Ready to play along? Well we are ready to see your amazing creations. Taylor is always looking for her Top Crops each week and it could be you! So join us for some sketchy fun!

Elzybells Challenge 43

Hi ya pals! This week is full of fun stuff for me and it's time for another fun Elzybells Challenge. Challenge 43 is to make a project using a door hanger. I can't believe I have never made one before. I think these would be great to hang on your co-workers office doors for birthdays and holiday greetings. I gotta get me some more of these things. I am using the wonderful door hangers available from Elzybells. They are a wonderful quality and I love how easy it was to decorate. I started off by lining up my door hanger to the backside upper left corner of my patterned paper. I then traced the inside of the door hanger with a pencil and trimmed out the center with detail scissors. I added my adhesive and positioned my patterned paper on top. I cut the layering pieces, distressed the edges, added some faux stitching and adhered it onto my apron lace cut border. Wow! This project was getting done at a record pace. LOL! I stamped the sweet Impromptu Airshow stamp for my main image and colored it in with Copic Markers. I matted the image onto some rich Chocolate Brownie textured cardstock. I added the "thinking happy thoughts' sentiment from the wonderful Fervour Sentiments set. I finished the card off with some red stitched ribbon and a Chocolate Brownie button. Hope to see your fantastic door hanger creations in the Everything Elzybells Forum.

CCM - Thinking of you

Hi Friends! Today I will be sharing with you the darling image from Chi Chi Memories called I'll give you all my heart. It is available from Chi Chi Memories as a single digital stamp. She is so pretty! I thought the image would be perfect for this week's Chi Chi Memories Sketch Challenge. I started started off by coloring my image with Copic Markers. I then started all my layering. I cut up all my pieces of patterned paper and distressed the edges. I didn't want to hide the bottom layer of pattern paper since it is so pretty, so I decide to cheat a little and paper pierced a rectangle at the bottom. I then finished it with a fine brown ink pen for faux stitching. I stamped the sentiment at the bottom, added two brads at the top and that cute Prima flower at the bottom. There are more creations using this sketch and other wonderful creations at the Chi Chi Memories Community. It's a great place to chat and view lots of goodies from CCM. You will also want to visit the CCM blog to see this week's new release.

Thanks for visiting friends and Have a wonderful Wednesday! I will see you tomorrow for another fun Elzybells Challenge!

CCM - Happy Mommy's Day - Day 2

Hi Friends! I'm back with another Happy Mommy's Day creation for Chi Chi Memories. This card features the sweet girl image and heart bouquet from the set. This little cutie is so adorable. I love her dress. I used the sketch from the first Chi Chi Memories sketch challenge. It went perfectly with these images. I started off by coloring my images with Copic markers and cut them out leaving a thin white border. I used some cute patterned paper from Crate Paper from the Paper Doll Collection for my base background and circle. I then layered a strip of blue paper onto my brown cardstock and added some ribbon to embellish. I finished the card by adding my matted heart bouquet over the ribbon and popping up the girl onto the middle of the circle. I hope you love this little cutie as much as I do. Be sure to check out the Chi Chi Memories Gallery to see the wonderful creations from their Design Team. The shop also has a new release that you will want to see too. CCM - Happy Mommy's Day - Day 1

Hello Pals! I am so proud to begin my Guest Designer spot for Chi Chi Memories. Natalie has lots of goodies in her shop from Digital Stamps / Clip Art, Handmade Kawaii items and adorable prints. Lots of cute stuff!!! Just love all the selections! Today and tomorrow I will be sharing with you her adorable Happy Mommy's Day Digital stamp set. For today's card I used the sweet boy image from the set. He was so fun to color, especially the hair. I used My Mind's Eye patterned paper because the argyle pattern had a bit of red in it and I thought that would be great to add in red for the tulip. I added several layers for dimension and popped up the boy image in the center. I added some ribbon and tied on a button for my embellishment. I think this set is perfect for not only cards, but for coloring with kids. I know my niece and nephew would love to color this cute little guy. I can easily enlarge the image to make it easy for them to color. Cool huh? There are so many wonderful stamp sets in the Chi Chi Memories Store. You will have to check them all out. They also have a wonderful community where you can chat and see their fabulous gallery. Lots of Fun!!! I will be back tomorrow with another Happy Mommy's Day creation. Thanks for visiting and Have a Great Day!!!

Stampendous Sketch Challenge - STMC4!!!

Happy Saturday!!! So happy to share with you my sketch for the Stampendous Saturday Sketch Challenge! I love Fluffles. He is just too cute and since it's Spring I used the Snail Fluffles stamp. Seriously, could that little snail get any cuter? I added the thinking of you sentiment from the Friendly Messages set as well. Sketches are so fun and are my favorite challenges because you can use your favorite stamps and papers. I love paper! So for this Snail Fluffles card I used My Mind's Eye (Quite Contrary) papers. I colored in the Snail Fluffles image with Copic Markers and sponged in the grass and sky with ink. I added some sparkle to the flowers with some amazing Multi-Fine Crystal Glitter. Hope you like the sketch! Ready to play along for your chance to win a wonderful prize from Stampendous?
